Chase
Chase, #23, joined the team in its second year. He attends Red Apple with his teammate Mikaele. Chase enjoys his math classes the most. When his coaches let him off the gym floor, Chase usually spends his time watching Dirk Nowitzki, playing video games, or singing along to Kanye West’s song, “Heartless”. He also enjoys soccer. After joining the NBA, Chase is thinking about becoming a career soldier. He wants to play ball for a few years first; at least long enough to buy his mom and dad a new house.
Ryan
Ryan, #11, has been with the Storm for three years. He attends 21st Century Prep with teammate Kaj. Ryan likes to play golf and read in his spare time. He enjoys watching Tiger Woods and singing along to Flo Rida. Some of you may not know this, but in addition to being a champion free-throw shooter, Ryan also competes in math competitions. Ryan recently auditioned for kids’ Jeopardy. Ryan’s first purchase with his NBA millions will be a red Ferrari. After retirement, he’d like to be the Treasury Secretary.
Kaj
Kaj, wearing #24 for the third straight year, is the tallest member of the team. He attends 21st Century Prep. During most games, he can be found under the hoop. What some of you may not know, is that Kaj loves soccer and his favorite food is cheese cake. Like many of his teammates, math is Kaj’s favorite subject. When Kaj is not jumping during tip off, he can be found watching Kobe Bryant, drawing, or playing Guitar Hero. On Kaj’s IPod, you might find Maroon 5, T.I., or Kanye West. Upon retirement, Kaj would like to work for his dad on the Racine Police Department.
Michael
Michael, #5, has been playing with the Storm since the team’s first year, 2007. Like many of his teammates, Michael likes math the most in school. When not in school or on the court, Michael can be found reading or playing the Wii. To prepare for games, he tunes in to his iPod, listening to Akon or “Don’t Trust Me” by 303. Pregame, Michael also loads up on carbs with a huge bowl of macaroni and cheese, while brushing up on his moves by watching LeBron James films. He plans on playing for the NBA for a few years, long enough to purchase a huge house for his family. After his dad retires, Michael plans to take his place running Racine’s Parks and Recreation Department.
Griffin
Griffin, #21, joined the Storm in its first year, 2007. He attends St. Edward’s School in Racine. Griffin likes to eat ice cream, watch LeBron James, or play football. He plans to buy a nice house or a luxury car with his basketball millions. After retirement, he would like to become a sports analyst with ESPN. Griffin enjoys math class, and listening to “Don’t Trust Me”, by 303. Griffin has been heard saying, \“It’s kinda rough being the coach’s son!\”
Nick
Nick, #14, joined the team in its first year, 2007. He travels all the way from St. Alphonsus in Franklin to play for the Coaches. Like others on the team, Nick enjoys math class, playing video games, and playing baseball. What might surprise you is that Nick’s favorite song is “Crazy Train” by Ozzy Ozborne. He can be heard singing it when he thinks he is alone at home. However, Nick plans to stick with what he is best at and play basketball for a very long time. Nick’s “Plan B” is to become CFO at a large company, but not before he buys a mansion for his whole family to live in. The mansion will include a mini-KFC that specializes in Honey BBQ Wings., and a room full of Michael Jordan memorabilia.
Matthew
Matthew, #0, is playing with the team for his second straight year. He attends St. Edward’s School with some of his teammates. Matthew is a big fan of Tracy McGrady, of the Rockets. When Matthew signs with the Rockets, he will purchase an iPhone for himself. Until then, he enjoys math classes at school as well as playing and watching football in his spare time. Also in his spare time, he plays many video games on his Xbox 360 while listening to T.I. After retiring from the NBA, Matthew would like to be a pharmacist at a location that has its own pizza parlor. What better set up than having your favorite food available right at work.
Mikaele
Mikaele, #32, is in his second year with the team. “Me” attends Red Apple Elementary School in Racine, where he enjoys his reading classes the most. When not shooting hoops, Me enjoys playing video games and watching TV, all while his music is playing in the background. Like Kaj, Me likes Kanye West the most. He also enjoys afternoons of BBQ ribs and football or LeBron James. Upon becoming a professional basketball player, he plans to purchase a brand new home for his parents.
TJ
TJ, #22, is the newest member of the team, joining in 2009. He attends John Paul II Academy in Racine. When not playing basketball, TJ can be found fishing or playing baseball. He enjoys listening to All American Rejects, watching LeBron James, and eating pizza. He plans to purchase 100 acres of land with his first NBA contract. After retiring from professional sports, TJ would like to be an architect. Currently, his favorite subject in school is math.
